Who are we?

Dr. David Mallory
Dr. Mallory is the owner of Georgia Thurlow Chiropractic and has been a chiropractor since 1987.
Dr. Mallory has been a Vancouver resident since 1968. He attended school at Langara College and UBC before going to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 1983. The program of study at CMCC was four years, with Dr. Mallory graduating in 1987. He has been in the downtown core of Vancouver since 1991, first at Royal Centre and since 2001 at Georgia and Thurlow in the Terasen building. He works alongside his wife Deb who is the smiling face and friendly voice at the front of the office. They have been married since 1984 and love working together!
Dr. Mallory became a chiropractor after suffering from years of migraine headaches which were the result of a diving injury where he hit his head. After having been warned to not see a chiropractor, Dr. Mallory went to a chiropractor to see if he could get any type of relief and the results were so extraordinary that he went back to school. His goal was to learn chiropractic in order to help others who have had chronic pain. Since 1987 he has been able to bring relief to thousands of patients and help them understand their condition.
Dr. Mallory uses primarily full spine diversified adjusting, but also utilizes ultrasound, low intensity (cold) infrared laser therapy, electrotherapeutic point stimulation (ETPS), and Impulse adjusting instruments to help patients. He loves his work and enjoys making people feel better. His focus is on helping patients understand the cause of their pain and teaching them easy and natural ways to change the cycle of pain they’ve been experiencing.
