TYPICAL TREATMENT PROGRAMS

Each patient is treated based on individual needs.  Therefore treatment programs will vary a fair bit depending on your condition and your response to treatment.

On the 1st visit a history is taken and examination is performed, a tentative diagnosis is made, the diagnosis is explained to you and, if appropriate, treatment will commence with your informed consent.

On a subsequent visit Dr. Mallory and Dr. Sayani spend about 30 minutes describing the process your body uses to heals you.  It’s a very interactive learning session for you.  Then they check your response to the previous treatment and adjust accordingly.

Subsequent visits - Dr. Mallory or Dr. Sayani check your spine and utilize chiropractic adjustment techniques and/or electrotherapy to help you recover or maintain your health.  These treatments range from 5 - 15 minutes in length.

Dr. Mallory and Dr. Sayani prefer to treat you as an individual on a case by case basis.  They will suggest a treatment program which is appropriate for the response noted in your situation.  Of course, in the early stages of care, you may require more treatment and the recommendations your doctor makes will reflect their best judgement based on their experience with thousands of patients.  No treatment plan at Georgia and Thurlow Chiropractic is carved in stone, which means as you heal and function is restored, your visit schedule will spread out.

If for any reason, or at any time, Dr. Mallory or Dr. Sayani think you would be better off to see any other health care practitioner (another chiropractor, medical doctor, dentist, physiotherapist, massage therapist, podiatrist, acupuncturist, fitness trainer, etc.) you will be given the name of someone that they think will be able to help you with your condition.  They have a wonderful referral base of practitioners who they trusts with their own care and will not hesitate to refer you to them!
